The first international conference ELMECO was organised by Department
of Fundamental Electrical Engineering (Technical University of Lublin, Poland) in 8-9th September 1994. The conference was held in Kazimierz Dolny city, the pearl of polish renaissance.

The members of first scientific committee were:

prof. O. Benda - Slovak Technical University, Bratislawa, Slovakia
prof. K. Bessho - Kanazawa University, Japan
prof. A. Czernichowski - University of Orleans, France,
dr     A. Miziolek - US Army Research Laboratory, United States,
prof. A. Moses - University of Wales, Cardiff, UK,
prof. A. Nafalski - University of South Australia,
prof. I. Pollo - Lublin Technical University, Poland,
prof. T. Janowski - Lublin Technical University, Poland

Conference ELMECO'94 created the opportunity to meet one another
and make contacts firm for those who deal with electrical power industry
and electromagnetic devices and processes.
